Join Woodinville Toddler Group in the Parade!
ALL ABOARD FOR SUMMER FUN WITH WTG!What better way to support Woodinville Toddler Group than to walk in a parade with friends all decked out in your locomotive finest? Join us Saturday, August 18th in downtown Woodinville at 10:30am for the 40th Annual Celebrate Woodinville Parade!
Pull out the overalls & bandanas, decorate your wagons or strollers, and help us showcase our amazing program to the greater Woodinville community. Child participants will receive their very own train engineer cap, and everyone can help us wave, cheer and pass out information to the crowd. We'll line up between 10 and 10:30am, and it's a short walk to the end of the parade route (about 20 minutes). Meet us on 175th street and Garden Way in downtown Woodinville (near the movie theater)--just look for the group of train cars and the large WTG banner.
Remember that if your child plans to ride a bike or trike, they need to be wearing a helmet, and no electric vehicles are allowed. Train themed gear is encouraged, but not required (hat, overalls, bandandas, whistles, homemade costumes, train tshirts, etc.). If you have your WTG t-shirt, feel free to wear it--and if it's too small, you can always bring it along to pass on to a smaller child in attendance. If all else fails, you can't go wrong dressing in WTG's colors - red, green, blue!
We look forward to seeing our alumni, new and current families on August 18th. Let us know if you'll be joining us!
**Please note that we will be taking photos at the event for use on our website, facebook and in some of our community marketing materials, but we will be sensitive to those wishing to not be photographed.**
